Day 1: Arrive Thimphu

  • Upon arrival, enjoy the Bhutan local lunch. Then, start tour by visiting The Tashichho Dzong. Proceed tour to The National Memorial was built by Bhutan’s third king. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 2: Thimphu

  • After breakfast, visit the oldest temple in Thimphu, the Changangkha Lhakhang. Continue tour to The Jungshi Handmade Paper Factory, and the Cheri Monastery. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha

  • As for today, drive towards Punakha via Dochula Pass. Stop over for tea break. Continue to The Chimi Lhakang and the Punakha Dzong or the Pungtang Dechen Phortang Dzong that is located at the confluence of the Mo Chhu and the Po Chhu River. Later in the evening, experience a local market
  • Overnight in Punakha
  • Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner


Day 4: Punakha – Paro

  • Breakfast in hotel. Before drive towards Paro, visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Point) and get the good overview of Thimphu Valley. Other places that we will visit is The Paro Dzong and The National Museum of Bhutan. Evening, visit local market of Paro, dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Paro

  • As for today, experience a morning hike up to the Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) that hanging precariously and magically from a rather steep cliff. After the hike, visit The Jowo Temple of Kyichu is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, and was built by the Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo in the 7th Century AD.

Day 6: Depart Paro

  • After breakfast, your are free at leisure before being transferred to airport for your departure flight.
