Day 1: Arrive Paro – Thimphu

  • Upon arrival, enjoy the Bhutan local lunch.
  • Then, start tour by visiting Rimpung Dzong. Then, drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. The road meanders alongside the Paro Chu (river) and terraced fields until the confluence of two rivers at Chuzom.
  • After dinner, transfer to the hotel.
  • Lunch & Dinner.


Day 2: Thimphu – Punakha

  • After breakfast, drive towards Punakha. En-route, stop at Dochula pass.
  • Proceed to visit Punakha Dzong. Then continue drive to Wangdue to visit Chimi Lhakang, a temple built by Lam Drukpa Kuenley, the Divine Madman and renowned for blessing barren women with fertility
  • Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.


Day 3: Wangdue Phodrang – Punakha – Paro

  • As for today, visit Tashichho Dzong, National Animal Takin Research Centre, Memorial Chorten and National Post Office. Spend only RM 15, to have your own photo for a set of stamps.
  • Proceed to Buddha point (Kuensel Phodrang) before being transferred to Paro for ovenight stay.
  • Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.


Day 4: Paro

  • After breakfast, drive to the foot of the Taktsang Monastery or Tiger’s Nest cliff before walking uphill for 2 hours to reach this monastery. The trip to and fro takes 4 hours for which riding ponies can be arranged (RM 70/per pax). After lunch, visit one of the oldest landmarks in Bhutan. The 7th century Kyichu Lhakhang was one of the 108 temples built in the Himalayas by Tibetan King, Songtsen Gembo.
  • After dinner, if you have special needs, we can arrange for you to experience the Bhutanese Traditional Hot Stone Bath (RM 110 /per pax). Later, transfer back to hotel in Paro.
  • Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.


Day 5: Depart Paro

  • After having breakfast in the hotel, be prepared to transfer to the airport for departure flight back home.
  • Breakfast.
