Bukit tinggi is the third largest city in West Sumatra, Indonesia, with a population of over 124,000 people and an area of 25.24 km. It is in the Minangkabau Highlands, 90 km by road from the West Sumatran capital city of Padang. The whole area is directly adjacent to the Agam Regency, and is located at 0°18′20″S 100°22′9″E, near the volcanoes Mount Singgalang and Mount Marapi. At 930 m above sea level, the city has a cool climate with temperatures between 16.1° to 24.9°C.

Day 1: Arrive Bukittinggi

  • Arriving at Minangkabau International Airport, you will be welcomed by our friendly tour guide, then continue to Bukittinggi through the beautiful Anai valley. You have the opportunity to stop at Anai waterfall and in the traditional village of Minangkabau Village. After lunch, visit Pandai Sikek, a village famous for its fine woven crafts and wood carvings. Arriving in Bukittinggi, check in hotel.

Day 2: Maninjau Tour

  • Breakfast at Hotel, City Tour of Bukittinggi visit Ngarai Sianok with its spectacular scenic beauty. Then he visited the Japanese Hole, a stronghold / hiding place for Japanese soldiers in the days of the independence war. After lunch, then head to Maninjau via twist 44 with a stunning view of the lake. Arriving in Maninjau, visit Sungai Batang village where there is the house of a great cleric, Minangkabau Hamka. In the afternoon return to Bukittinggi via Pariangan Village. Arriving in Bukittinggi, a free program to shop at Pasar Atas.

Day 3: Minangkabau Tour – Padang

  • Breakfast at the hotel, the journey begins by exploring the beauty of the Minangkabau earth by visiting Batusangkar. On the way to stop at Tabek Patah, to see the beautiful natural scenery, visit local home industries such as making banana and traditional coffee mills. Midday meal is a menu of grilled fish in a restaurant surrounded by beautiful rice fields, followed by visiting Pagaruyung’s palace. Continue the trip to Padang through Pariangan village. Arrive in Padang, city tour visit China Town, Old Port, Siti Nurbaya Bridge, Padang Beach then check in hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4: Depart Bukittinggi

  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drop you off to the airport for your flight home or next destinations.
